I'd like to say that I just slept in until 11am, but the truth of the matter is I was just running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

But I've been trying to make out house look all Christmasy and stuff (which is a lot harder when the hubby is smack dab in the middle of finals) and I was looking for some motivation procrastinating inspiration for some not-so-run-of-the-mill decor...
Probably my favorite...
Simple yet impactful.
Easy but looks difficult.
Cheap but looks expensive.

I love that crisp look too. I'm trying (and failing) to fight against all the cutesie things that folks are passing along to us for small one.

The second image is my favorite. I get so lazy decorating for the holidays because then I have to put it all away when it's over. We still don't even have our tree yet. Sads.
