You say it's Thursday?

Thursday, huh?

Hmmm, I wonder how that happened??? It is always crazy to me how dadgum busy things get this time of year.

The last week as been a whirlwind of *STUFF* going on!

First and foremost (drumroll, please!)...

We have a graduate!!!

I couldn't be more proud...it's a little anti-climatic seeing as how we still have to go through this little thing called the BAR...but hey, we'll take what we can get!!! So very, very proud of all the blood, sweat, and tears to get here (from the both of us (c; ).

So we've been playing catch up on all the things that got put on the backburner during finals...

Taking the kiddos to see Santa (which they refused to actually go see Santa. #fail).

Delivering Christmas cheer to our friends (#extraholidaylbs)

And me breaking into my Christmas presents early...hey, my new J Crew Factory skirt was *perfect* for wearing to graduation (c;  (Isn't it great that my only full length mirror is in my bathroom???)

And with that my friends, I am off to celebrate the holiday season until the New Year.

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

Angels

Complete and utter devastation.

The unfathomable.

I cannot imagine, nor ever want to know, how these sweet families are feeling...the stories of their lives and of their heroism bring an onslaught of tears that seems to be never-ending.

I feel sick that such a tragedy has befallen the most innocent among us and even more sick that so many are making it a political platform. So wrong.

Praying for Newtown.

Friday's Fancies: Serious Sparkle!!!

This had my name all over it!

It might as well have been titled "Aubrey's favorite things" week.

SPARKLE.

And as is *very* well established, this is the season for sparkle...wouldn't you just love to strut into a party in this getup???

I just might be *slightly* obsessed with those heels...I may or may not have to break down and get them this weekend.

Y'know, early Christmas present and all that jazz (c;

I want it ALL!!!

I stumbled on this Christmas song the other day over at Party Of One...I had forgotten completely about this darling song...

Now I've listened to it about a kajillion times because my four year-old is obsessing (as four year-olds do), I'm just really hoping that she doesn't decide that she needs a hippopotamus!

 Doesn't that just get you in a Christmas mood??? If it doesn't, than maybe the smell of hot wassail simmering on your stove will...we had some last weekend and I assure you, the smell is *FANTASTIC*.

And if you've never tried wassail, you're missing out...I happen to like it a lot. If you've even seen The Proposal and Ryan Reynold's line about "Christmas in a cup"...this really is Christmas in a cup! (c;

And if that's Christmas in a cup, then this is Christmas in a jar:

Best part is you could put whatever you wanted in them...like pink and gold...y'know, just throwin' that out there (c;

Come with me to the Emerald City!

I'm sure you've caught wind of the big news already, so you know you're going to be seeing an awful lot of this color out and about:

Those absolutely *gorgeous* emerald cap toe beauties are from Target, a total steal at $33!!!

And if any of you get these for your emerald fix...

...I'm going to have to *seriously* re-evaluate our friendship (c;

Are you as excited as I am about Emerald overload??? I mean, I am a May baby, so of course I think it's amazing (c:

And Miss Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific :

I don't think I knew that plaid could be so chic and gorgeous before these two women!

Did you know that you can get just about anything in plaid???

Mad for Plaid

It's a DIY Christmas!!!

Positively.

Homemade gifts are the best, right???

Doesn't that quilt your mom made you just warm your heart?
