There's just something about a holiday weekend, isn't there?

We are actually going to *DO* something for this Labor Day weekend and I'm thrilled that it includes heading to some cooler weather, *SCORE*!!!

And it's supposed to rain a bit, but that doesn't bother me because it won't be 100+ degrees...only the pregnant woman could be happy about a cold rainy weekend (c;

Friday's Fancies: Red White & Blue!

Oh I just love the day after a holiday, here's hoping that today is a little slower-paced and more peaceful day...and then I hear mothers of small children everywhere laughing and pointing at the far-fetched nature of this hope (c;

For a very long time, I've been a gal that loves red...not only is it just a gorgeous and bold color, but it's pretty much universally flattering on all makes and models, so win-win! 

And I've been doing a wee bit LOT of Stella & Dot lusting lately, so I figured I would go ahead and share some of these lust-y beauts:

We had a good ol' time yesterday celebrating our great nation...I spent a good portion of the time squirting tears because I'm hormonal and patriotism usually makes me cry anyways (weird)...luckily, these two had no problem having a ball:

Friday's Fancies: Sunnies! And other randomness.

It's *FRIDAY*, y'all!!! 

 HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY! (Seriously, I don't know what I did before Phil from Duck Dynasty.)

I don't know about you, but the pool has been my happy place as of late...so this Friday's Fancies was right up my alley...I definitely need some new shades! 

And you know you're cool when you can steal your dad's Wayfarers. Pulling. It. Off. (c;

Along those lines, this is my new favorite necklace...I figure if people are looking at my huge colorful necklace, they won't be staring at the belly??? So sneaky, right?

Friday's Fancies: Wild in White! and random updates

Just where does the time go???

 And just like that two weeks have passed, Memorial Day, my birthday, a week long family visit...craziness!

I'm pretty sure that after you're 30, all the birthdays kinda blend together, and mine was a blend of this:

Eating A LOT, including the best cupcakes ever, seriously, if you are ever in the area, they are just as good (maybe better) than Sprinkles! And adorable to boot.

And finally seeing The Great Gatsby, which let's be honest, I would see another fifty times just for the houses and fashion:

I thought it was pretty spectacular.

We even squeezed in a little fishing on Memorial Day and I just loved this picture of my little man with his "trophy fish":

And since we're into full on summer over in these parts, you know I had to jump into the whites for Friday's Fancies!

Note the Gatsby inspired jewels...what can I say? I'm on a kick. And the 3 ring should be my "push present" here in October...3 kids and 3 has always been my lucky number, it's a sign! (c;

So there's your dose of mash up madness...I have no idea when I'm actually going to get back to posting like a normal human being...*sigh*...

But here's hoping, right?

Friday's Fancies: May Flowers!

April showers are alright, I guess...but MAY FLOWERS!?! My Fave.

Don't you think I could still fit a pregnant belly into this outfit??? Totes.

And I just can't get over the lovely floral of those shorts...especially in that lovely sunny shade of yellow (c:

May is pretty much my favorite month EVER...Mother's Day *and* my birthday...all wrapped up in a month that is usually fantastic weather and sometimes they even make my birthday a national holiday (yeah, I guess it's Memorial Day technically, but when it falls on my birthday...).

And to top it all off, this year we'll also be finding out if we're having a wee princess or wee prince joining our family. 

WHEW!
