Happy, happy Friday!!!

 I'm imagining hot cocoa, caramel popcorn, pumpkin patch visits, and leaves changing colors... 

 Alas, it's still 100 degrees 'round these parts, so while we're pretending, I'm pretending that this wonderment is what I'll be donning this weekend!

 I don't even own a single one of these full skirts, but I've been absolutely loving the look lately...and those bow flats *MUST* be mine! 

 How did it come to be that flats are my "must have" shoe??? I'm becoming so practical in my old age (c;

I'm pretty sure that song "Foxy Lady" always conjures up images of Waynes World and Dana Carvey...

But there is a serious fox trend going on!!! I didn't know these little foxy dudes had made a move on the fashion scene, but I think it's pretty fun what's going on down...

And I'm not like a member of PETA or anything, but I'm definitely more into the fox print trend than the fox stole trend...

I dunno, something about wearing a think with a head/face....*shudder*....

Monday Mash up

Well, it *IS* kind of a surprise, isn't it???

So here's a mash up to entertain you on this fine beginning-of-the-week-day-that-shall-no-longer-be-named day:

I loved this little nursery I came across here...the metallic polka dots, the art...it's all just so funtastic!

This cute jacket needs to be mine...you should see the fun fabric for the sleeve rolling...good work, Tar-jay!

We did some Halloween decorating...I know, we're psychotic (c: But it's been established as the *best holiday ever* at our house, can't let them down! 

And then there was the Emmys...there were some fabulous gowns (duh), but these three were my favorite (it's just a shame that pictures don't really ever do them justice, they were *way* better when you saw them on camera...)

Cleary, Miss Jane Levy needs some help in the "striking a pose" department, but this dress and that necklace were all kinds of gorgeous...just the color alone probably would've sold me on this one...it's actually pretty simple, but I think that's why I kinda like it (c:

Not really a Hayden fan, but this dress was really gorgeous...this picture is not very good at showing how glittery that bottoms layer is and how lovely that sheer draped overlay looked...

And cheers to my girl Julie Bowen for her neon number...I LOVED IT. You never really know what Julie is going to do on the red carpet (sometimes her fashion is, well, BONKERS), but she looked gorgeous and I loved the fun neon of this dress and fit her *perfectly*...and cheers to her Emmy win (c:

 I don't know about all of you, but I've been noticing that tough is looking mighty fine these days!

 It used to be that leather and studs were left to the gritty biker dudes with crazy beards...but hello leather with ruffles and Valentino with studs! 

 I'm pretty positive that I've never been categorized as a "tough chick"...I'm also relatively secure in the assumption that the words "leather, studs, and spikes" aren't going to be added to the nursery rhyme of "What little girls are made of"...but DAAAAAAAANNNNNGGGG if they aren't look *GOOD* and *GIRLY*!

That means that fall clothes are just around the corner (cue "Moves like Jagger" and ensuing victory dance).

We even got to go to the zoo on Saturday to celebrate the hubby's b-day that's *today*!
