Favorite Finds: Amy from Fresh and Fancy!!!

Okay ladies, I have a treat for ya today!

I have had the pleasure recently of meeting Miss Amy from Fresh & Fancy and she is just the sweetest gal who has "the eye" for fashion and design! I mean just look at her darling blog header:
So sweet, right? (c: I just know you're going to love her, too!

Hello to all of you "Bright and Beautiful" bloggers!  My name is Amy from Fresh & Fancy, and I am SO excited that Aubrey asked me to be a guest on her fabulous blog today!  She is definitely a daily must-read for me.  She has such great taste in design and isn't afraid to use color!  She also happens to make me laugh with every post she writes!  Her sense of humor is so charming, which makes me love her blog even more!  Aubrey asked me to share some of my Favorite Finds this season.  So, today I bring you my favorite Spring home decor items that I can't live without!
I first spotted the Gold Athena Tray from Jayson Home over at Breakfast at Toast and fell in love!  I ordered it immediately and had to wait patiently for about 6 weeks for this baby to arrive.  It tends to be on backorder frequently, but it was so worth the wait.  It arrived a few weeks ago, and it is seriously one of my favorite finds this year.  Such a great statement piece on our coffee table!
I love all of the lacquer accessories at West Elm right now.  This small lacquer tray is perfect for the bathroom counter to hold all of my go-to beauty products, face wash, and everyday jewelry.  They also have some fun gray and white striped trays to check out!
I am a huge fan of World Market, and they have some of the cutest outdoor decor this season!  I am loving this 24 inch Indonesian-inspired Outdoor Pillow. They are so bright and colorful, and would be great on your outdoor deck or patio.  Plus they are only $34.99 each!
I am obsessed with this white wale from Z Gallerie.  There has been tons of bookshelf inspiration in blog world lately, and this would be a perfect addition!  I have been really impressed with Z Gallerie this season, they have some great Spring finds!
I fell in love with these the minute I saw them!  These individual Graham & Green plant pots would be perfect for your kitchen this Spring.  I think they are so cute!  I would love to have the blue one sitting pretty in our home :)
Thanks so much Aubrey for letting me steal your blog for the day!  Hope you guys enjoyed my favorite finds this season!  Happy Thursday!

******
How fun are those finds?!? That feather tray is pretty much *awesome* and those plant pots would definitely put a smile on my face! (c:

And to add to the awesomeness...I'm over at Fresh & Fancy sharing my favorite spring trends! Come on over and join the party!!!

Oscar awesome sauce and guesting at Bijou and Boheme!!!

So I forgot to ask yesterday, did anyone watch the Oscars? It sounded like the show was a flop...but that's just the chatter around the water cooler...

Michelle looked absolutely stunning...this was the only moment of the Red carpet that I caught and I'm so glad I did. Hands down favorite.

Also loved this look:

But mostly I just love what this lady is doing in the background. Hilarious.

But I digress...really this post is supposed to be about the fantastic guest post I'm doing over at the fabulous Christine's "all that and a bag of chips" blog Bijou and Boheme!!!

One of my daily must reads...and today it's my "Style in 7" or in my case, random 7 (c:

It looks a little bit like this:

Live in Color via Because it's Awesome

So drop by and stay at while at Bijou and Boheme, you'll be glad you did (c:

Crazytown

So did you all survive Black Friday???

Hopefully this is just a joke and not a reality for any of you hard core Black Friday-ers...

And on to more important things like making my Christmas wish list (c:

And I know y'all are confused by this last one...you're all like "but Aubrey, you don't cook...like *AT ALL*...why would you want that???"

So true...and so the reason is slightly ridiculous...because it would look adorable in my kitchen (c:

Don't worry, I would use it at least once. (c:

I can't quite put my finger on why I love these so much...they actually kind of remind me of something that a crazy golfer would wear...but still, I love them...are we detecting a little of a color scheme here???

And don't even get me started on Christmas decorations...no wait...YES, get me started on it because I did a whole post on it over at Kristy's super fun blog...

Drop by and say hi and get those creative juices flowing!!! (c:

Guest Post: Saved by Suzy!!!

Do you know how to spell Suzy???

T-A-L-E-N-T.

Yep. That is how I spell Suzy from Saved by Suzy (c: Not only does this lady pull off some awesome projects and has curated a beautiful home, but she totally makes me laugh on a daily basis. We hit it off right away and it's been a blast ever since! It was definitely here furniture revamping skills that first impressed me, but I've been impressed by a lot with this talented gal! Enough of this schmoozing, her stuff speaks for itself!!! (c:

Hello!  I am so excited to be here.  All Things Bright and Beautiful is one of my favorite blogs.  It's always so full of great pics and inspiration.  Aubrey was one of my first friends in Blogland.  If only we lived closer to each other, I know we would have tons of fun shopping, hanging out and redecorating our homes.
Aubrey asked me to give you a sneak peek into my home.  ACK!!  My house is in a constant state of upheaval/disaster as I try to redecorate and makeover everything in sight.  Right now, it seems like I have a million projects going on, but none of them are finished.
Please, tell me you can relate?  Or, does this only happen to me?
Here's are some shots of my dining room:

I found the dresser on Craigslist, gave it a new coat of paint and now it serves as a buffet.  The mirror was a boring brownish black that I glammed up with a little gold spray paint.  Gotta love the spray paint!

I love my turquoise Fu dog and I couldn't resist jumping on the Missoni bandwagon with this fun little candle.

Just ignore that little table in the corner.  It's hanging out there while I'm trying to sell it.  I really wanted to show you these sunburst mirrors.  I got them for a 50% off steal at Hobby Lobby.

I recently painted the French doors a glossy black.  I love them!  I'm thinking about adding faux Roman shades to add some more color and pattern.

Next up, is the living room.

I decided the niche above the TV needed a little pop of color, so I painted a canvas and hung it up there.

These chairs and buffet were my first DIY project...and I haven't stopped since.

I have a throw pillow obsession!  They do wonders at hiding an ugly couch!
My piano just went from dingy old brown to fresh and modern green.  I love gallery walls.  Here's a closer look at mine:

Thanks for stopping by my living and dining room today!  Right now, I'm busy working on kids' bathroom and should have a reveal next week on my blog, Saved by Suzy.

I also host a link party every Thursday.  I am blown away by the amount of talent there is out there and the projects that people link up.  I would love to have you join the party and show me what you have been working on.
Thanks for having me today Aubrey!

It just leaves you wanting more, doesn't it??? Definitely hop over and check it out!

And up tomorrow:

Maury from A Fabuless Home!!!
