*Lots* to talk about!

I'm having a pretty hard time getting back into the swing of things this morning...

Long weekend + Birthday + LOTS going on = One tired mama!!!

But just in case you were wondering, it was FAN-freakin'-TASTIC (c:

Friday I had my very first bloggy friend meet up with the adorable and oh-so-sweet Patience of White Laquer!

We just met up at a park to chill with kiddos and chat, so perfect! 

And being the absolute sweetheart that she is, she remembered it was my birthday and brought me that little winged piggy box and I absolutely *adore* it! 

Only in the blog world could you meet someone for the first time and they can totally nail it on getting you a present! (c: Thank you, Miss P, you're the best!!! 

I had a special birthday dinner date with the hubby at The Compass Grill...a 360 degree restaurant on top of a building that *ROTATES*. Yup. A 360 degree view of the city. With yummy food. Bomb.

BTW, that dress is from Target...it's *awesome*, can you see the hi/low hem???...and that clutch is K. Slademade and I'm *so* in love {big huge HEART}

Actual birthday was zoo and hanging out with the fam...

And these cupcakes (with *pink* in the middle and sprinkles) that my hubby actually made all by himself...how adorable is that???

So thanks for all the wishes, it worked!!!

They grow up so fast...

Today is the birthday of one of my favorite little friends...

...and he is 5 years-old!!! *cue breaking of mommy's heart*

This is him teaching me to dance at his uncle's wedding...

We are having a dinosaur party today...he thinks those cupcakes are the *BOMB*. I'm glad he's still easily impressed.

Yesterday was little girl's 3rd birthday...and we are all partied out over here!

I'm *soooo* planning on a nap later today...

But I thought I would fill you in on how the *P-A-R-T- why???? Because we gotta!!!!* went:

My kiddo's birthday is next week (the big *3*...yep, not as impressive as when it's followed by other numbers, right?) and I was trying to think of a party theme when I was stuffing my face lightly snacking on some candy corn.

The birthday outfit, complete with my pleated skirt (yes, I found one!) and my son, of course he is in the picture...(c:
(Ignore my hair, our a/c went out that day and it was HUMID...yuck)

We ate, we laughed, we ate, we shopped, we had a ton of fun and it couldn't have been more perfect!

And I'm pretty sure that I will have reading material for the rest of the summer because I got this book from the hubby and three of my Coralie Bickford-Smith books....THRILLED, I say!!!
