Have you ever just wished you were British so that you could have the tradition of high tea?
I just love tea cups in general, they are so just so pretty and all fancy-schmancy....
Tea time attire...
You know you want to get dressed up like this:
So the other day, I decided that me and the kiddos should have a tea (and by tea, I mean chocolate milk in tea cups)...hey, why shouldn't a PB&J lunch be fancy?
It turned out so cute I decided to share:
We went and got some tea cups for 50 cents a piece at Goodwill, they were *very* excited to pic out their cups...and those cute little plates are thanks to Jessamie, who you will get to know better on Wednesday (c:
Threw together a centerpiece from stuff that was hanging around with my no sew runner:
And VIOLA! High tea kid style (and yes, that is whipped cream on chocolate milk...don't judge)
And faces ended up looking like this...I love a good milk mustache (c:
Well, pip pip cheerio and all that stuff for now...
See you tomorrow for

You're such a great mom! What a fun day! Don't you wish we could wear tutu's as skirts like those little girls in your image? ;-)
Ah what a fun day for your adorable little ones- so so cute. And I agree, love everything about tea time...j'adore pretty tea cups!!
I love tea parites! They quote is super cute too! My mom gave me her great grandmothers china and the tea cups are lined with real silver! They are so pretty.
Aubrey!!! I am dying over this post. I host a tea party every year for my daughter and her friends and there is so much inspiration. I must have that "You are my cup of tea print!" Where is that from. And your table was adorable. Those fruit dishes are precious . . as are those darling faces!
I love the Alice and wonderful ish picture! I need a good excuse for a tea party!
This is the cutest! I can't wait to have a tea party with P!

Love, love, love high tea! And all of these dreamy photos! xo
I'm half British and tea does absolutely nothing for me. I'm an embarrassment to my mother... Your party was so adorable, I bet your kids loved it. Elizabeth would kill for something as fun as that (especially if she could wear one of those dresses), and I bet the boys would even partake.
Love those images. The little girls, too cute!
This is so gorgeous. Love!
Olá...quantas coisas MARAVILHOSAS!!!
AMEI..TUDINHO..TUDINHO..BJUS E UMA LINDA SEMANA PRA VC!!!
What a sweet activity for the kiddos! I love playing "high tea" with friends...but those fancy shmancy cups and treat stands would never last in my house! Happy Monday Aubrey!
My mom has one of those darling tea/sandwich plates. So pretty! And yes...I wish I was British, or at least in London right now!

What a fun activity with your kids, I bet they just loved it!
I love high tea! I've been to Europe but went to a few different countries in Asia and they all to afternoon tea and I got slightly addicted. Who doesn't love a yummy drink and a tasty little snack.
The pictures at the beginning are just so inspiring and I love the tea party with the kiddos, too! What fun...
SO cute - what a great little impromptu tea party! I'll have to keep this in mind when my daughter gets a little older.
How precious was your little tea party?!!
I love tea cups! They're so delicate and dainty! Feel like a lady whenever I drink tea ;)
Too cute! I could go for some chocolate milk right about now. And everything taste better in cute little cups.
Hahah those milk mustaches :) I feel the same about porcelain teacups. Can't get enough of cute looking, floral printed, gold touched teacups. Or any other piece of porcelain.
Your little ones are so adorable! Nice tea party set up. What a sweet mom! And I am in love with all the pretty porcelain teacups in your inspirational pictures!

My mama and I have held numerous tea parties! J'adore high tea!
Too cute! Looks like fun to me!
cups and saucers are always so dainty looking and sweet. That's why they work great for a wedding or shower theme. I always love the pastels that come along with them too!

Oh-so-cute!
So cute, what a great mom you are :)
Some of my favorite memories growing up were when my mom and I would drink tea together. It made me feel so grown up.
Such beautiful and dainty teacups...adore the little girl's tea party!!
This is such an adorable post!!
I think your kids tea party looks very sweet & festive :-) And there's absolutely nothing wrong with chocolate milk topped with whipped cream - especially when there are apples too, which of course counterbalance the whipped cream :-)
Aw, very sweet momma of you to be so fancy. I mean, why not? You only live once. Be fancy.
absolutely delightful! whipped cream and all. you are such a fun mamma!
Your tea party looks so lovely! The kids look like they are having a ball :) xx
Ah, what a fun idea! I loved catching a glimpse of your little cuties! When I was younger my grandma would make reservations at The Jefferson (a major Richmond historic hotel) for ladies tea!
I love tea parties!! Something so fun and girly about the tiny cups and mini sandwiches :)
Oh my gosh this is SO cute!! Love the tea party :)
Your table looks so pretty and fancy! Great job.

To be quite honest I would love to have few of my frinds agree to have tee with me, after all isn't that the time to gossip? But I think people are more set on book clubs there days. Oh, well. You are such an awesome mom to have a tea party for your kids. Such cuties they are!
Oh, I love the flowers!
I want to throw a super awesome tea party...so fun!!! I have a tea set from when I was a little girl and I hope to one day pass it on :) Your kiddos are adorable!
OK, this is so freaking awesome I can barely put into words. I haven't been drinking as much tea lately just cause it's been so freaking hot, but man oh man did you make me want to turn on the kettle!
