Friday Faves

Oh Liz, you are a girl after my own heart...and this inspiration board over at A Happy Haven *stole* it this week:

How stinkin' adorable is the idea of toy portraits for your little one's room??? I die.

via 6th Street Design School

Amazing DIY bracelet that I'm pretty sure I need to try out...

And to completely betray my *geekdom*...I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter...

It rocked my face off. (c:

Aubrey, thanks for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment about our half bath! :) Those bracelets are DIY?! The last bracelet I personally made was out of those plastic seed beads...and I was still playing with Barbies at the time. Definitely not as pretty as the ones you showed!!

That toy portrait is so lovely and I might need to learn to make those bracelets.

The best thing I ever did with my boys was reading the entire series of Harry Potter together. It took us about a year from start to finish but it is one of my best memories as a parent.

I've been eyeing that Trina Turk rug far longer than a person should admire a textile. Maybe one day... :)
