I want it ALL!!!

I stumbled on this Christmas song the other day over at Party Of One...I had forgotten completely about this darling song...

Now I've listened to it about a kajillion times because my four year-old is obsessing (as four year-olds do), I'm just really hoping that she doesn't decide that she needs a hippopotamus!

 Doesn't that just get you in a Christmas mood??? If it doesn't, than maybe the smell of hot wassail simmering on your stove will...we had some last weekend and I assure you, the smell is *FANTASTIC*.

And if you've never tried wassail, you're missing out...I happen to like it a lot. If you've even seen The Proposal and Ryan Reynold's line about "Christmas in a cup"...this really is Christmas in a cup! (c;

And if that's Christmas in a cup, then this is Christmas in a jar:

Best part is you could put whatever you wanted in them...like pink and gold...y'know, just throwin' that out there (c;

Love Wassil. My sister always makes it! Smells as good as it tastes!

I think I need to make some wassil! Maybe during Christmas with the in-laws. I definitely need some Christmas in a cup then!

Love the trees in the jar. I have had Wassail, but I generally prefer Hot Apple Cider or Hot Chocolate. Every Christmas morning, my mom would have hot chocolate ready for us when we got up to drink while we opened our presents.

Ooooh, I LOVE Christmas in a jar! So cute & pretty!

Last year I couldn't get away from the Hippopotamus song - so far I've managed to avoid it this year :-) It was cute the first few times, but not so much after the 268th time ;-) But it's great that you and your daughter are enjoying it :-)

Mm, I love wassail! It's even better when you throw a bit of rum in. :-D
