I'm so excited for this week and I'm pretty sure in about 2 seconds you will see why...
Anne is just about the sweetest girl in the whole wide world and she and I quickly became blogging buddies. We have a great relationship: she does amazing things and then I drool and gush about them. Sounds about right, Anne? She has two of the cutest little people around, a witty sense of humor, and I have been completely *BLOWN AWAY* by her amazing design talents. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself!!! (c:
Hi, there! I'm Anne from Hello Newman's. I just love Aubrey and her amazingly inspirational blog, don't you? I was beyond thrilled when she asked me to write a guest post for her series "How to Make Your Home Your Own."
This was our dining room when we first moved in our house last year. Help. Please. Need I say more?
Our original master bathroom was definitely a sight to make your eyes sore.
$250 + a handy husband = a fresh and new master bathroom.
And speaking of our master bathroom renovation, this is what we did with that yucky builders grade mirror once we took it down. This project definitely took some serious measuring skills (and a very mathematically minded husband) - but totally worth it in the end.
Bathroom mirror in the living room? Why, yes, of course.
This little art collage hangs over sweet Ashlyn's "big girl bed." It's made up of random frames, scrapbook paper, and fabric flowers - I love how it adds just the right amount of girly fun and color to her room.
Thanks, Aubrey, for letting me take y'all on a quick little tour. This was such a fun post to write. I loved thinking about the personal touches we have added to our house over the past year. But I have to say, friends and family sharing love and laughter are what truly make "your home your own."
Like these two sweet faces - they are home to me.
I could stare at her dining room all day long...that amazing wainscotting always gets me drooling!!! Anne always has some sort of fantastic project going on, so if you are feeling the need for some inspiration, definitely head on over and say hi! Thanks Anne for sharing all your fun spaces and projects...I'm sure you will have another one before I know it that I'll be gushing about (c:
