I'm all about brass bugs.
That's right, it's not a typo. BUGS.
I found this fun little guy whilst perusing Matchbook Magazine and it was love at first sight:
I just think he's the perfect balance of fun/quirky/gross (c:
But then I was like, how the fetch am I going to find this little guy???
Um, Ebay, DUH!
I promptly found this little dude:
I'm pretty sure they are twins...and get this, its actually a vintage ashtray from Italy. Weird and fun at the same time.
But heck, why stop at brass bugs? There is apparently all sorts of fun things to incorporate the creepy crawlers!
This one is a little too creepy for me...
Fuzzy, snuggle bugs...
What about fashion?
Um, using the term "fashion" loosely:
I mean, if Mischa can do it...
Okay, what about some colorful and toned down art? These are pretty rad:
Even good ol' Anthro is jumping on this movement with these fun wall guys (although at $800 a pop, I'm pretty sure I'd go a different direction!)
So, are you sufficiently creeped out, or ready to go out and find your own fabulous bug buddy? (c:
P.S.
Found this on Kate Spade today, too (c: See the cute lil' bug buddy?
