So the holidays were great and all...but now I need a break from my break, y'know?
So I was wondering what would pop up if I googled "best hotel in the word"...um, apparently there are *quite* a few of them!
I'm pretty sure there are many of them that I would like to try out...but this one caught my eye on Travel + Leisure's 50 Best Hotels list:
Jade Mountain...and if you are wondering where Anse Chastanet, St. Lucia is because I'm pretty sure I had no freakin' clue...it's in the Caribbean. Oh duh, right? (c:
So if coming down off the holiday high really isn't your "thing"...you can take off to this oasis...don't worry, it will only set you back $2600/night...pocket change, no?
But seriously, that bathroom just might be worth it...
Ahhhhhh so beautiful!!!!!!!!!! I love that infinity pool. Wow this is a tease considering it's 30 in DC right now :)
ReplyDeleteWe looked at going there for our honeymoon!! But alas...we were in the middle of hurricane season!! Boo to that!
ReplyDeleteThese places look absolutely beautiful! I am ready to pack my bags and head to one of those destinations!
ReplyDeletelol Just developed mental image of you frolicking in the bathroom while the fam bam scuba dives.
ReplyDeleteSt. Lucia is next on my list! J & I were just talking about it the other day. But I hear there are a lot of bugs there because it's the jungle. Oh well, it looks like it's worth it. $2,600 a night? No problem! LOL xoxo
ReplyDeleteGoodness, now that last picture is what I call a view!
ReplyDeleteMaybe its that I'm feeling stuck with a nursing baby that eats every 2 hours, but all I can think about the past few days is a warm getaway without the kids. Can't stop dreaming, but know it can't happen in the next few months :(
ReplyDeleteIf you are treating consider it done. I will meet you there sans kids and husbands of course. This is a girls kind of trip!
ReplyDeleteSo are you taking me with you!? You need a makeup and hair artist by your side at all times... right? Looks delightful and makes me want to hug a palm tree so hard... better get makes me wanna do some sit ups... brb! ;) xo
ReplyDeleteLets split it :)
ReplyDeleteI've actually been to the beach of that hotel (on an excursion during our honeymoon cruise). I want to go to the hotel so bad!
ReplyDeleteOMG I am so glad you posted about this, I am def right there with you... not wanting to come off the holidays myself. Okay take me here now!!! How amazing would it be to wake up to the beautiful ocean and landscape? Dying~

Gorgeous! My brother took his wife to some place out in the desert (near Dubai, I think) where each room had it's own swimming pool! Their photos were amazing. And I was more than a little jealous.
ReplyDeleteNot even in my wildest dreams could I imagine staying in a place so heavenly. It's hard to look at these pictures, then look outside at the cold, dreary day and leafless branches of empty trees. Oh, what I wouldn't give for a short spell on a beautiful beach somewhere!
ReplyDeleteSeriously...looks amazing! I want to go!
ReplyDeletewow i love these photos! i wanted to go to there on my honeymoon but man too expensive! but it sure is beautiful
ReplyDeleteThose all look great! I'd gladly spend some time at any of them. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness these pictures are amazing!! How awesome it would be to stay there!
ReplyDeleteahh gorgeous! wish I could be there right now.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, the view is breathtaking (such an understatement!) If only time could stand still, and money was no object...ahh, if only ;)
ReplyDeleteOkay that looks like heaven! I want to go there right away...wonder if they ever have any kind of last minute deals for maybe say $150 a night instead of $2000 plus :)
ReplyDeleteAh seeing this and then looking out of my Michigan window to the snow made me slightly depressed...
ReplyDeletele sigh... it's 20 below here and st lucia looks like heaven! Blogger conference in the Caribbean anyone?
ReplyDelete$2,600/night?!? Wow. Totally worth it if I won the lottery!
ReplyDeleteI'm really feeling you on this!! I'm ready for a beautiful landscape filled with cool aqua waters!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great new year, Aubrey ;)
I saw this resort (online only, of course!) and I desperately need an escape like that right now. Happy New Year, Aubrey!
