I hate wrapping.....ugghhhh.....BUT I am going to *try* really hard this year to make all packages as gorgeous as possible!!! Wish me some serious luck!
I'm the worst at wrapping! I just want it to be over! However, I wish I had the patience to make my packages looks beautiful! I've been obsessed with that second image and those yarn balls are adorable!
Confession time, my hubby does the wrapping. I wish I could wrap like Martha but I can't. Hubby is very precise in his measuring of paper (Hello math geek) and has nice crisp edges. If I could wrap maybe I'd be more inspired to make the packages pretty. Also we are mostly wrapping for four kids, lets be real, all they care about is the gift. Maybe when I'm older I'll wrap pretty gifts. I love the pics, especially the musical paper with bells. So fun! If anyone wants to wrap me a pretty gift, I'd love it! ;)
I love a beautiful package, but despise spending money on the wrapping. This year I bought craft paper on the cheap and i'm just going with that. Some day! xoxo
I especially like the sheet music paper with the big silky bow. If I had the time and the patience, I'd try all these wrapping ideas! I'm lucky if I manage to get the paper on half-straight and a bow on top ;-)
Uggh wrapping :), I haven't even started shopping yet...I know, I am running out of time. I am planning on going natural this year. I love wrapping with natural brown paper and adding a pretty ribbon and sprig of greenery.
I have never heard of A slip shop, will be checking out pronto. I was thinking I would have to get rid of a few dresses casue there a smidge to short, one of their slips could save them.
I'd like to get more creative with my Christmas wrapping, but my hands start hurting after the fifth attempt at a pretty bow. I'm uncreative in the wrapping department. Unwrapping though, now that's where my skills are.
I can't cut a straight line to save my life, which means striped paper (to use as a guide) or solids are my best options. I love the look of brown paper with big bows for a uniform scheme under the tree. However, we are currently showcasing the hodgepodge style of gift wrapping at casa de Cardigan Junkie :)
I love beautifully wrapped packages. I saw a video a while back that suggested using aluminum foil for wrapping a present. That might be an interesting idea...
Last year I was all about rustic wrapping, like the one in the 3rd image. This year I love the idea of simple and elegant. I found a luxurious black paper with a velvety black print and I will use white ribbon for this. I will also go for all-white and white with grey. :) Ada
I love gift wrapping the only part it can be very time consuming. As much as I like the holiday paper from the stores I love the regular old brown paper.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love all of these but I think I'd get all mad when it came time to open the presents because I wouldn't want people to "ruin the pretty"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ideas for wrapping! I am terrible at wrapping presents! I usually revert to the good old bag and tissue paper!

ReplyDeleteThe fanciest I get is adding a bit of ribbon or an ornament. All of these are lovely though!

I saw the confetti idea on Pinterest, but my only thought is that it would come off and gooo EVERYWHERE! That and glitter always works too!
