Do you know how to spell Suzy???
T-A-L-E-N-T.
Yep. That is how I spell Suzy from Saved by Suzy (c: Not only does this lady pull off some awesome projects and has curated a beautiful home, but she totally makes me laugh on a daily basis. We hit it off right away and it's been a blast ever since! It was definitely here furniture revamping skills that first impressed me, but I've been impressed by a lot with this talented gal! Enough of this schmoozing, her stuff speaks for itself!!! (c:
Hello! I am so excited to be here. All Things Bright and Beautiful is one of my favorite blogs. It's always so full of great pics and inspiration. Aubrey was one of my first friends in Blogland. If only we lived closer to each other, I know we would have tons of fun shopping, hanging out and redecorating our homes.
Aubrey asked me to give you a sneak peek into my home. ACK!! My house is in a constant state of upheaval/disaster as I try to redecorate and makeover everything in sight. Right now, it seems like I have a million projects going on, but none of them are finished.
Please, tell me you can relate? Or, does this only happen to me?
Here's are some shots of my dining room:
I found the dresser on Craigslist, gave it a new coat of paint and now it serves as a buffet. The mirror was a boring brownish black that I glammed up with a little gold spray paint. Gotta love the spray paint!
I love my turquoise Fu dog and I couldn't resist jumping on the Missoni bandwagon with this fun little candle.
Just ignore that little table in the corner. It's hanging out there while I'm trying to sell it. I really wanted to show you these sunburst mirrors. I got them for a 50% off steal at Hobby Lobby.
I recently painted the French doors a glossy black. I love them! I'm thinking about adding faux Roman shades to add some more color and pattern.
Next up, is the living room.
I decided the niche above the TV needed a little pop of color, so I painted a canvas and hung it up there.
These chairs and buffet were my first DIY project...and I haven't stopped since.
I have a throw pillow obsession! They do wonders at hiding an ugly couch!
My piano just went from dingy old brown to fresh and modern green. I love gallery walls. Here's a closer look at mine:
Thanks for stopping by my living and dining room today! Right now, I'm busy working on kids' bathroom and should have a reveal next week on my blog, Saved by Suzy.
I also host a link party every Thursday. I am blown away by the amount of talent there is out there and the projects that people link up. I would love to have you join the party and show me what you have been working on.
Thanks for having me today Aubrey!
It just leaves you wanting more, doesn't it??? Definitely hop over and check it out!
And up tomorrow:

Don't worry Suzy, you're not the only one with a houseful of projects-on-the-go that never seem to get finished! Love the mirror above the DR cabinet, and the cabinet looks pretty good too. And LOVE the black doors - some romans in a fab pattern would definitely look great on them.
