The Lone Star State

Ever heard of Liz Lambert?

Probably not, unless you've stayed at one of the fabulous Texas hotels that she designed.

I had to check out the fab hotel that belonged to this picture on Jetsetter and then I was hooked:

And the Havana has adorable rooms:


And it's right on the Riverwalk in San Antonio...


But that is just *ONE* of her hotels.

Then there is the San Jose in Austin:






Super fun...

She also had a hand in the Saint Cecelia which is probably my favorite:

  3. Oh MY! I wouldn't mind staying at this place!! That veranda is divine and that little street filled with string lights and colorful umbrellas look so quaint!! I'm headin to Texas with ya!!

  10. I'd heard of the San Jose but not the Havana! Imagine my surprise to find out the River Walk ACTUALLY has a chic hotel!!! When do we leave?

  15. Oooh, oooh I stayed at the San Jose in Austin. So laid back cool. Not cool in the temperature sense 'cause it was fooking Hot! But you know, cool in the slang sense. I just got all excited! The Saint Cecilia looks badass a la yesterday's post.

  24. Whenever we go to Austin, I always see if those hotels are available. Sadly, we usually decide to go too last minute, but we when we drive by, I drool! :)
