You can find me here, at Bud and Leo!!
Talking about awesome stuff like Joel McHale and nail polish...yeah, I have no idea what they have to do with each other either, except for I'm kinda obsessed with them (c;
Come visit!!!
On another note...
This is going to be a different kind of giveaway...
I seem to be standing on some kind of box...and it has something written on it...S-O-A-.....um, nevermind. (c:
Yep, it's my soapbox cause: the fund raising bike race for Diabetes:
The Tour De CURE!
I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows someone who is affected by Diabetes...for me, it's my brother-in-law who found out at 16 that he would be insulin dependent for the rest of his life.
The people participating in this event have some pretty inspiring and sweet stories about why they ride, like the grandpa who rides for his 7 1/2 year old grandson who has diabetes:
There are *plenty* of inspiring stories that you can read here (y'know, if you need a good cry or something (c:)...
I usually keep this blog super light and silly, but today it's pretty serious, I know.
But that is because this is something I'm really passionate about and I hope that you all are, too.
Because I'm asking a favor...
Sponsor a good cause.
I'm pretty close to one of the teams that is riding and it would be so amazing if we could support their efforts to cure this terrible disease.
AND...
The ChemDry team has graciously offered to sponsor a giveaway here!
How gorgeous is that little baby???
How to Enter:
For each $5 donation to the Tour de Cure you will get one entry to win this personalized monogram necklace! ($100 value)
You will get to pick the style and the monogram...so it will be uniquely *yours*!
Just come back and leave a comment telling me you donated (and for how many entries) and we will do a drawing on Friday May 27th for the winner!
Even if you don't care about a necklace, it is an amazing cause to support.
Thanks for letting me talk about something that is near and dear to my heart!!!
Girl look at you doing good and writing fabulous guest posts. What a great cause. Enjoy your weekend and I hope you are feeling better!
