Serious love affair

I have not been able to tear myself away from staring at gorgeous wallpapers...

Which is ridiculous because I live in a rental and that is a major "no-no" (not to mention incredibly stupid because HELLO that would be a lot of work for nuttin')...

But has completely not stopped me from having a wild and passionate love affair with fab wallcoverings (sorry hubbs)...

But the real affair is with just one:

Behold, the Ferm Living Wilderness...be still my beating heart!

And just looky who had this gorgeousness in her entryway and doesn't it look divine (btw Naomi, I am soooo jealous):

**update**

And ferm living has a web site with other examples of this *fantabulous* wallpaper:

And couldn't resist this one:

That Ms. Bradshaw is one stylish lady (c;

And in case you were desperately wanting more...

You can find me over at my adorably wonderful friend's blog today, Ms. Julie from Julip Made.

And really can you resist the subject: 5 Things Your Closet Can't Live Without ???

I know, you just can't get there quick enough! (c:

  1. Dear Aubrey, don't let a little thing like "rental" stop you from exercizing your love for wallpaper. Get an hanging sanded mdf panel, or two, or three, and cover it up with wallpaper. And you can display wallpaper as art, and change it whenever your tired! Believe me, I´ve done it on entrance wall, it worked out fab!

  4. Great picks!!! I love all of them!!!! I have never been a huge fan of wallpaper until recently!!! I love looking at home decor. But it makes me want to re-do our entire house and we just do not have the time of the funds for that! But a girl can dream, right?

  8. Those are great choices!!! I don't have any wallpaper in my home...hmmmm. I guess I tend to use paint for pattern on the walls.

  9. I know what you mean about renting but I agree with Angela above. I picked my favourite wallpapers and framed them and put them up in a gallery wall and even though it's more subtle, it still looks great! I adore the Fern Living Wilderness paper! UK based Fabrics and Papers have some gorgeous designs if you want to indulge some more??

  10. Beautiful wallpapers. I love the 2nd one and the 8th one...they are incredible. Angela has an amazing idea hang them on MDF, or get a room screen and hang the wallpaper on that. It would add such a punch to your room.

  22. All of those wallpapers are fabulous! I was always a little scared of wallpaper but started off small (and temporary) by wallpapering my bookshelves and creating removable panels for the bedroom. Maybe that would work in a rental!

And breaking news . . . I got a C&H painting! We found another one we actually liked better (funny how things work out)! Yippee!

  25. I remember when I was a child, everything was about wallpaper...then when I started getting older, it became a thing of the past. It's kind of fun seeing it come back around.

We rent as well, so there is no way I'd ever attempt this. haha...
