This site, The Blog Guidebook, is pretty cool...it's like the yellow pages for blogs! If you want to add your blog, they have different categories/subjects and it's free. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. Then whenever someone wants to look up blogs for that subject, they find yours! (c: Genius.
