Ah, back to nonsense at ATB&B!

Happy Friday to all you weekend lovers (if you aren't one, then really, what's *wrong* with you?!?) and I'm already thinking "beach"...

Add a Lil' Whimsy to your day

It's been a while since I posted a pic from my house...

How darling is this frame? I'm totally in love with the color and definitely the print from the I Am Project (c:

It's from a new etsy shop called Lil' Whimsy Frames

They can do any color and switch up shapes and schemes so you can do a custom fun frame for wherever you need a lil' bit of whimsy (c:

Now before you think I'm just plugging a new sponsor, hear me out!

Remember my little friend Matthew? The one with stage 4 Neuroblastoma?

That was right before he got diagnosed...

And this is just a short while ago...he looks a little different, but same ol' smile.

Unfortunately, they just got done with their 7th round of chemo and there has been no change. NO CHANGE. How is that even possible???

Needless to say, the future is kinda bleak at the moment.

He and his sweet mommy have been in NYC for the past few months battling this round of treatment with some of the best specialists in the country...but they still need help and a lot of it.

So Lil' Whimsy Frames was born!
They are donating *all profit* to help out this sweet family while they are living out this horrible situation.

So if you would like to add an adorable frame to your collection and help out a great cause at the same time, drop by and check it out!!!

And prayers are always welcome. Much love, friends. (c:

I'm not that kind of girl

I just want this.

The wallpaper, the light fixture, and the *OTTOMAN*. Oh that ottoman.

I'm not really a purple kind of girl, but that shape and the tufting has my knickers in a twist.

DROOLING. Profusely.

So tell me love bugs, what does your dream room look like???

Still on the weekend (in my mind)...

My mind is still in weekend mode.

Especially after I discovered that for a mere $1,099, I could be seeing this:

...and staying here:

Ergo, I'm off to see how much 2 crazy small children will fetch on the black market (c:

I'm not *really* going to sell my children so I can go on a vacation to Ireland....I'm just thinking about it.

Seriously. (c:

I'm a Blockhead and a Movie review of Brave!

I'm definitely not a person that you would characterize as "color shy"...I'm positive that I'm just the opposite...a color extrovert???

Regardless, I've been in absolute lust convulsions over this Tibi dress since I spied it on the fabulous Bee:

And bonus, these were my wedding I'm pretty sure I've liked this combo for *awhile* now (c:

Do you think Santa starts taking requests in June???

And by the way, I got to go take the little kiddos to see Disney/Pixar's new movie, Brave:

Have you heard anything about this movie yet? 'Cause when I went to go see it, I thought it was going to be like the G-rated-and-animated-with-girl-lead version of Braveheart.

It's a story about a Scottish princess who is pretty much a normal teenager: she doesn't get along with her mum and wants to make all her own decisions (even if they're silly ones). Then she makes a deal with a witch and turns said mum into a bear (yup) who she has to then save to save the whole kingdom. And her mum.

I just like calling her "mum". (c:

Seeing as it's a Disney movie, I thought it would be fine to take the short people to (they're 5 and 3).

Wrong-o, AGAIN.

The villain in this movie happens to be an uber scary and creepy grizzly bear (including a missing *dead eye*, ew) 5 year-old son had to keep taking his 3D glasses off every time it came on because it was too scary. )c:

HOWEVER...The princess' triplet baby brothers are DARN FUNNY and leaving the movie, my little ones were already *begging* me to buy it when it comes out on DVD and to take them to see it another time in the theater. (c:

Overall, it was pretty entertaining (though not my favorite Disney movie by a long shot), Billy Connolly is freakin' hilarious as King Fergus and I will always and forever be smitten with *anything* Emma Thompson touches (she's the Queen in this one), she's always BRILLIANT.

(cause I know you're totally skimming all this!)

It's a good movie, entertaining for the kiddos (as long as they aren't too young!), but you definitely can skip the 3D unless you're just really into it because I don't think it really adds much in this case!

Happy color-blockin' weekend, people...

Linkin' it up to Friday's Fancies!

One too many???

I know, this is like wedding overload this week, right?

But this was just too cute to pass up...I mean honestly, does it any more laid back and adorable???

Jess and Scott, you are darling.

This is a wedding photographed by Ryan Ray and I tell you what, *I'm SOLD* (c:

(you can see all the pics HERE)

I can't believe they didn't even invite me to the reception.

Seriously, it's like I didn't even *blog* about them! (c: hehehe...

A Regular Thing

I think I might just start making this a regular thing...posting a song video that I'm crushin' on...and by regular thing, I mean whenever I feel like it (c:

That really clears things up, right?

But seriously, this is one rad video and I just can't get this song outta my cabeza (yeah, that's spanish for "head", look at me being all fancy and bilingual!).

I just can't get over the crazy stunts that these peeps can pull off...and I think I have a serious girl crush on that girl band member...and I think the dude on the far right is my hero (c:

Oh yeah, this is happening...

I am a little more than obsessed with this idea that J Crew has planted in my head.

Get outta my head, J Crew!!!

But how sweet is the idea of layering big, awesome necklaces like these?!?

CLEARLY, I'm not the only one that thinks this idea is the bomb diggity:

Now my head is just spinning with possibilities...and I also think I would like to give this a whirl with this new piece of delectable goodness:

Don't tell me you're not drooling over it too...I see the puddle on your keyboard!!! (c:

So are you going to jump on the excess train with me or what? (c;

Scenes from a summer wedding...

Things are slowly getting back to normal around here and I'm finally feeling sane again (c:

And I also have picture from the cutest lil' summer wedding you ever did see.

Needless to say, it was was the couple (c:

I matched (unintentionally) the bridesmaids...oops, I think that's a wedding faux pas...

My brand new yellow skirt from NY and Co, Downeast basics blouse (old), J Crew necklace via ebay, and Guess bronze heels (old)

In other news that made me ecstatic...

The rehearsal dinner we were in charge of went off without a hitch and looked lovely...

Thank you, Trader Joe's for your lovely selection of gorgeous flowers (c;

And I passed by the new Vera Bradley store at my local mall and had to take a pic of this hellaciously great wallpaper going on:

Um, hi??? Vera??? Can I take up residency in one of your retail stores??? That would be great. Thanks! (c:

Well, that's all I got for now, but I should be making the rounds as we speak, catching up on all the juicy goodness that is blogtown. (c:

See you soon!

I feel like I was sucked into a time warp this week...and then I was dropped off and it just happened to be Friday.

I still haven't been able to determine if that is a good thing or not!

Apologies all around for being completely absent from your bloggy lives, I promise that next week I will be back to faithfully stalking all of you (c;

In the meanwhile, I just couldn't pass up the chance to put together an outfit centered around this scrumptious top from my favorite J...

Between that blouse and those GORGE sandals (thanks Reed for giving me another unattainable obsession!), I would feel a lot better about my weekend for recovery (c:

Hope your weekend is a fab one!

On my mind

Things of note that have been on my mind...

...otherwise known as a lust list. (c:

The new color of this necklace from Ann Taylor. I just have to pull a Rachel Zoe for this one. I DIE.

I just ordered this GORGEOUS necklace from Bauble Bar (it's on pre-order for $28 only for the next 24 hours and if you open an account they give you $10 off, RIDICULOUS.)

And then there was this monstrosity:

For $535 (!!!) no less.  Oh, NO, NOOOOOOO!!!

Stop getting necklace ideas from Avatar.

Can you tell I'm trying to keep my sanity with a little retail therapy? (c: Love it.

Different...but Good

Thanks for all the good luck wishes for my company/'s going well, but unfortunately, we won't be in the clear until Thursday...CURSES!

But just because I have company, doesn't mean that I can't enjoy my online magazine fetish, right? (c:

So the new Lonny came out and it had some really unique and fun spaces...these two here are a couple that I don't think I would usually go for. But I'm strangely attracted...kind of like with Mark Ruffalo.

Traditional with a twist...

I can't get over this bedroom and that fabulicious pendant over the bed...

Show me a wall of maps, and I'll show you one happy gal.

What do you think, yea or nay? Any fan favorites from the mag?

Short story...

I'm a million miles away right now... (NOT REALLY, just in my mind)

Doing this:

Wearing this:

Drinking something like this:

On a tropical island.

But it's probably really going to look like this:

...because I've got company coming in today and a wedding next week (thus the company).

Wish me luck...I'm gonna need it!!!

Happy Weekend all, and here's to yours looking more like the first version than the second (c;

I need a chair with a gun on it...

No, not one sitting on it, but *literally* on it.

I just discovered that all these gorgeous and faboosh pics come from one house belonging to a Miss Bailey McCarthy, seriously! This all came from her house.

I know, I hate her, too (c:
