Every once in a while in blogging you get an extra pleasant surprise.

That was what it was when I got an email from Ana Cordeiro, an interior designer based in Lisbon, Portugal!

She has a *fabulous* store in Lisbon, Prego Sem Estopa, and participated in the amazing fair Maison Et Objet in Paris this year and thought we might like to see some of her pictures of the grand event. And in case you didn't know, Maison Et Objet is *THE* show for home fashion (c: Fabulous, right.

Um, yeah, I think I would definitely like to see pictures of that and all the fantastic things she has at her store!

I couldn't say "yes" fast enough! (c:

Some of what the store looks like:

And some of their fabulous wares:

I would say this is a definite "must see" if you are ever in Lisbon...but if you can't wait, you can visit Prego Sem Estopa right HERE (c;

And if you haven't visited the $100 Shopbop giveaway yet...WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?

That's Quirky

There are some words that are just flippin' fun to say.

Like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Yes, I totally googled how to spell that stupid case you were wondering.

I can say that word a billion times and it's still fun (c:

Just like the actually application of being quirky...I just love quirkiness in just about everything!

Quirky sofas....

 Quirky table decor...
Quirky prints...

Quirky fun...

Quirky DIY's...

I even love ironic quirky (I mean, really there isn't anything quirky about a small clutch...unless you write "That's Quirky" on it! Brilliant.)

And I've been finding all sorts of fun quirky 'round about:

Wouldn't these be darling in a nursery???

Hehe...the spoon is his tail (c:

Apparently, I like quirky animal-themed things...

Now I'm not even sure if all of this would even be my cup of tea, but darn it if it isn't just fun...

And I'm pretty positive if you wanted to pick up something quirky for yourself, you could do it with the $100 Shopbop giveaway that's going on RIGHT NOW!!!

Games are afoot...

Sooooo...I was officially the last person in the universe to go see Hunger Games last night:

Um yes, I really did take all that crap *and* ate it. No, I didn't get to go to the midnight showing this time (DANG IT!). And yes, that is me taking pictures of my feet before the movie (c:

I really don't like hearing about what everyone thinks about movies before I go to them, I think that's part of the reason I go to midnight showings of movies that I *REALLY* want to see...

The truth of the matter is, it's an awesome flick...but really nothing compares to books and my own over-active imagination, now does it?

However, there is some awesome shiz associated with this movie...

Exhibit A:

Elizabeth Banks' amazing premier outfits...*stunning*

Exhibit B:

How hot Jennifer Lawrence girl crush...I'm a sucker for a woman who can take care of herself

Exhibit C:

Hunger Games Nail Polish by China Glaze...Riveting and Electrify are pretty darn awesome

And last but not least...and to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure if I think this is awesome or disturbing...

Exhibit D:

Hunger Games inspired wedding reception...

I guess you could end your vows with "May the odds be ever in your favor"??? (c:

Anyone else want to weigh in on what you thought?

And speaking of games, I expect that all of you would like to join in on the $100 Shopbop GIVEAWAY going on right as we speak!

Don't miss out on adding something fantastic to your closet...

So while I was home...

It's so much fun to go and travel, but it's *SO GREAT* to come back home!

I definitely get what Dorothy was sayin'. And let's be honest, we could be besties because I would also go to those kind of lengths for some awesome shoes, too. (c:

But here I am getting totally off subject already, it's kind of a habit getting all tangental on y'all...

While I was at home I met up with my gal pal, the fantastic Miss DeAnn from the S.I.P. Project and had a fun little photo sesh.

I'm not gonna lie, it's really awkward having pictures taken of you by yourself...especially in a well-traveled downtown area...and more especially when creepy old guys are leering at you and trying to wave at you from their cars. *AHEM* Not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything...

But D is so talented that she actually got some pretty fun pictures of moi, even though the wind was being *highly* uncooperative:

Goofin' off...

 Totes admiring the kicks here...

This was hubb's fave, nevermind the "I just tasted a lemon" face I'm making (c:

And thank you Tar-jay for having such awesome duds for a last minute photo sesh. Smooches and squeezies xoxo

So lay it on me, yea or nay? And if you would like to see some of the other fun pics (I haven't seen them all yet, drat) you can drop by the S.I.P. Project and check them out (c:

And speaking of dropping by, have you entered the HUMUNGO GIVEAWAY for $100 to Shopbop???

I would if I were you (c:

Favorite Finds: Amy from Fresh and Fancy!!!

Okay ladies, I have a treat for ya today!

I have had the pleasure recently of meeting Miss Amy from Fresh & Fancy and she is just the sweetest gal who has "the eye" for fashion and design! I mean just look at her darling blog header:
So sweet, right? (c: I just know you're going to love her, too!

Hello to all of you "Bright and Beautiful" bloggers!  My name is Amy from Fresh & Fancy, and I am SO excited that Aubrey asked me to be a guest on her fabulous blog today!  She is definitely a daily must-read for me.  She has such great taste in design and isn't afraid to use color!  She also happens to make me laugh with every post she writes!  Her sense of humor is so charming, which makes me love her blog even more!  Aubrey asked me to share some of my Favorite Finds this season.  So, today I bring you my favorite Spring home decor items that I can't live without!
I first spotted the Gold Athena Tray from Jayson Home over at Breakfast at Toast and fell in love!  I ordered it immediately and had to wait patiently for about 6 weeks for this baby to arrive.  It tends to be on backorder frequently, but it was so worth the wait.  It arrived a few weeks ago, and it is seriously one of my favorite finds this year.  Such a great statement piece on our coffee table!
I love all of the lacquer accessories at West Elm right now.  This small lacquer tray is perfect for the bathroom counter to hold all of my go-to beauty products, face wash, and everyday jewelry.  They also have some fun gray and white striped trays to check out!
I am a huge fan of World Market, and they have some of the cutest outdoor decor this season!  I am loving this 24 inch Indonesian-inspired Outdoor Pillow. They are so bright and colorful, and would be great on your outdoor deck or patio.  Plus they are only $34.99 each!
I am obsessed with this white wale from Z Gallerie.  There has been tons of bookshelf inspiration in blog world lately, and this would be a perfect addition!  I have been really impressed with Z Gallerie this season, they have some great Spring finds!
I fell in love with these the minute I saw them!  These individual Graham & Green plant pots would be perfect for your kitchen this Spring.  I think they are so cute!  I would love to have the blue one sitting pretty in our home :)
Thanks so much Aubrey for letting me steal your blog for the day!  Hope you guys enjoyed my favorite finds this season!  Happy Thursday!
How fun are those finds?!? That feather tray is pretty much *awesome* and those plant pots would definitely put a smile on my face! (c:
And to add to the awesomeness...I'm over at Fresh & Fancy sharing my favorite spring trends! Come on over and join the party!!!
