In a Bubble...

I'm pretty sure y'all are no strangers to this gorgeous piece of loveliness:

I just love the look of this necklace and the styling options are *literally* endless...

Just look at their models work that thing!

(not the J Crew model, but you get the point...)

And just look at all the real women stylin' it up like *pros*...

(and just for the record, I don't really consider BEE or Jessica  to really be "REAL" women, they are pretty much styling royalty in my book)

The only thing holding me back was the $150 (!!!!) price tag...a little steep for me.

HELLO EBAY!

I got mine for $14 on ebay...yeah, they say it's authentic J crew (I'm pretty sure it's not since it was shipped directly from China...), but like I care! It looks great and for $14, right???

Outfit #1: shirt, jeans, flats...Outfit #2: Dress is Steve Madden, heels Aldo (both from *a while ago*)

Sooooooo...what's the verdict??? You're totally heading to Ebay right now, aren't you? (c:

Happy Monday, you fashion lovers!

Home Spa

Sometimes I just don't want to go anywhere. Sometimes I just want to relax at home. Sometimes it would just be nice to have a spa in my house.

Enter stage left:

AT HOME DIY SPA TREATMENTS!

These are some of the fun ones that I came across:

This invigorating ubtan (cleansing paste) scrub improves circulation and help tone slack muscles.  **HECK YEAH**

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup oat or chickpea (garbanzo) flour, 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric, 2 tablespoons each ground mustard and crushed fresh coriander leaves, 3 tablespoons rose water, 1 cup orange juice, and 1/2 cup water; stir to blend. Work the scrub all over your face and body. Rinse with warm water.

Herbal Steam Tools
1/3 cup dried lavender blossoms
1/3 cup dried calendula blossoms
4 to 5 drops geranium essential oil (Pelargonium graveolens)

Herbal Steam How-To

1. Add dried lavender and calendula (plus any additional herbs of your choice) to a large French press or teapot. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the herbs and steep for about 10 minutes.

2. When the herbs are finished steeping, fill a clean bathroom sink halfway with very hot water. Pull up a chair that will allow you to hang your head over the basin, about 6 to 8 inches from the water. Press or strain the herbs, then add the herbal infusion to the water. Add geranium essential oil.
3. Drape a large bath towel over your head and shoulders to create a "tent" over the sink and steam your face and neck for 3 to 5 minutes. If the water cools, add hot water as needed to produce more steam.
4. After steaming, splash your face and neck with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean, fluffy towel.

Orange Spice Foot Mask
1/2 cup whole oats
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons warm water
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
4 drops sweet orange essential oil

Foot Mask How-To

1. Using a food processor, grind the oats to a fine powder. Transfer to a medium-size bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and stir until blended into a thick paste.

2. Prepare two warm, wet washcloths or hand towels, either by wetting them and placing them in the microwave for one to two minutes or by soaking them in hot (not boiling) water. Wring out excess water and set aside.
3. Sitting with your feet in the tub or a large basin, use your hands to spread a thick layer of the mask over each foot, covering them completely up to the ankles. After wiping hands clean, wrap each foot in one of the washcloths to seal in the moisture from the mask. Sit back and relax for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. When you're ready to remove the mask, carefully lift off the washcloths. Rinse your feet thoroughly using warm water. Pat dry with a towel.

Yeah, I'm totally fantasizing about that foot mask. Sounds pretty much like heaven right about now (c:

Spa Week!!!

And what better way to kick it off than checking out some insanely great spas around the world???

*GAH* this totally made me wish I was independently wealthy with nothing better to do than travel around and check out these insane spas:

Ah yeah, they had me at Switzerland.

You would stay somewhere that looked like this:
And they said that their spa is "based on the lotus flower, the Buddhist symbol of enlightenment, rebirth, and self-regeneration. Elements of the white lotus are used to cleanse and de-stress"...Oh heaven and earth, does that sound FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC.

Apparently, this little gem is my neighbor:

Me likey.

And I had to give a nod to the home state:

I could *so* get used to that (c:

What about you? Have any fantastic spa destinations that you'd like to try???

And don't forget to enter the Perricone GIVEAWAY!!!

Beautiful on a Budget!

I know it's Spa Week, but first things first, IT'S A PARTY!!!

SPRING INTO SPRING!!! Today the party's at my place, but there are all sorts of fun parties, check out the hostess with the mostest list at the bottom (c:

Up on the block today: Great Budget Outfits!!!

Does it have to cost a lot to look fantastic???

HECK NO!!!

I'm a big believer in shopping frugally (ignore my husband laughing hysterical in the background)...I shouldn't have to break the bank to look like a million bucks!

It's all about how you put it together, right?

Target is one of my favorite shopping destinations (c:  Just look what you can put together in a pinch:

Outfit 1:  Dress, Shoes, Clutch, Watch, Necklace

And that *ENTIRE* outfit (accessories and all) comes in at $112 buckaroos...and we all know you have pieces that you can mix and match in to make it cheaper and make it *your own*!

(Plus, we also know that you can score things for even cheaper at Tar-jay if you hit the sale stuff...just sayin')

Want to follow a trend but not ready to invest the big $$$???

This is a great option!
I just picked up these fun colored jeans for $16 (online they're still $22.99) and they are the perfect pop of color for casual or a night out on the town!  And how *BIG* are colored jeans right now???

Tee, Ruffled tank, Jeans, Cardigan, Sandals, Wedges

That Casual look just needs a couple accessories to be the perfect summer uniform for less than $50! And the Date Night look came in at $85 (and really, who needs a cardigan for a hot date??? (c: ). Just add a couple great bracelets and some earrings and this would be one hot lil' number!

This is my take on outfit on a budget:

Same colored jeans at used above, Similar shirt, Dolce Vita for Target Sandals (from two summers ago, yeah these things get USED), Target belt (clearance for 4.99 (c: ), and just ignore the bracelet (it's not exactly budget, but you can find TONS of budget statement bracelets HERE!)
And don't ignore the munchkin posin', just wants to be like mama, ATTA GIRL! (c:

**Another little tip: If you find an expensive piece that you just can't live without and can't justify the dough...check out sources like Ebay! A lot of times you can find it for a fraction of the price! (c:**
