Time marches on

With the approaching new year, it seems like the passage of time really comes into the spotlight. I know I have been thinking about how time is going way too fast when it comes to my little rugrats and that it is going way too slow in relation to the hubb's schooling. (c: Sei la vie, right? But probably my favorite part about time is CLOCKS. (Yeah, I know, Evel Kenievel couldn't even make that jump...ha) I just pretty much love accesorizing, and clocks just add a cool element to a room (not to mention functional)...

LOVE this pic of Kirstin's fab living room that she posted today (please note the gorgeous new coffee table)

And one of these adorable little guys may or may not have a place on my mantel now...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Here's to more fun, adventure, and craziness in the coming year...(c:
Thanks for making one of my 2010 endevors so wonderful! And I'm glad that I'm not the only one looking at my blog anymore. I mean, of course that was never the case...

Martyn Lawrence-Bullard Design

Very much in love with Martyn Lawrence-Bullard Design...these are some of my favorite rooms and they are G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S...
I'm not so sure about the artwork here, but the overall effect is so modern and chic...

This puts me in the mood for SPRING...

So many amazing details...lovely wallpaper, stunning chandelier, and shut-the-front-door mirrored canopy bed. I think I just found my new reason to live. Don't tell my husband. (c;

One of the cutest little kitchens...(or not so little)...

This is just fun. I imagine that the hubbs will have an office about like this someday.

DYING over that little yellow ottoman.

So much fun color and pattern, but mostly that red coral chandelier is AAAAAA-MAZING!

But seriously folks...I just can't get over that mirrored bed. There are no words. (c:

I think I would like to have a New Year's party here:

But I think it will look more like this picture...as in lounging on the couch...(c:

What about you? Any killer New Year's plans???

Blah.

I am feeling rather uninspired today...Monday + After Christmas "blahs" = No Creativity. Luckily, someone else wasn't having that problem with this perfectly perfect space...anyone else think that wallpaper is AMAZING??? Normally, I wouldn't be down for the fabric on that sofa at all, but oddly enough, it just works well in this room. I'm just wondering what the tiny chair under the table is for...maybe that is a good one for Catalog Living...if you ever need a good laugh, it is HILARIOUS!

Pour me a drink

We were at an indoor flea market yesterday, and while I was not very impressed, there was this cocktail console that was AMAZING...if I drank, it would've been coming home with mama.

I wish I had made a video of how cool it is when it opens and so you could see the gold/mirrored inside better...you pull on the front knob and as that comes down the top part slides back. Just pretty. I love all the curved soft lines on it...so art deco, but that's just me. (c:

There was a set of two of these nightstands...glossy black with mirrored top...I shed a little tear leaving them there...

I need a new closet

I must just be in a SATC mood, because I just want to live here...

French Essence

Every once in a while I feel like I need to get some new blood into my blog roll. This time, I found French Essence and I just had to share this picture of her fabulous home in France (it is on an Olive Farm, how ridiculously cool is that?):

Do you want to move to France with me right about now? (c:

And this cute picture is of French Santa stockings...
*sigh of contentment*

I kinda hate this girl...

So I'm a big Sex & the City fan (I mean, what fashion loving girl isn't?) and I just stumbled across Candace Bushnell's home in Elle Decor. I'm totally in love and leaves me thinking that I kinda hated her for being beautiful and a rich and talented author, but now I hate her because she lives in this gorgeous home:

Yep, the green monster of jealousy may or may not have played a part in my above comments.

Nursery *GREATNESS*

To me, there is really nothing quite as great as an adorable nursery. I guess I'm not alone on that because 6th Street Design and Emily A. Clark both had these absolutely darling nurseries featured...

Erin's adorable nursery from Domestic Adventure

And Michele's from Screamy Mimi. So stinkin' unique and darling...

For more pictures of their precious nurseries, you can visit their blogs! (c:

A little bit of Barry

I found this site for Barry Dixon...he must be a pretty big deal because he has been in just about every design magazine under the sun and is coming out with a book...and now I know why:

Fabulousness.

I just wish I some of these pictures had turned out bigger. Blast my terrible computer skills!

Double love this room:

My favorite. Right here.
One word: Spheres.
